Allsop Gallery
The light and airy space comprises the entire upper floor of an old Georgian schoolhouse. It measures 15m x 6.5m with two 2.5m high hanging boards running the length of the galley.
Seating capacity of 70 for talks and performances.
Café and Foyer Galleries
The Foyer Gallery is situated in the entrance to the Arts Centre; all visitors to the Centre pass through it so it is a prime spot. There is one long hanging panel of chipboard measuring 7.08 m x 1.22 m (23′ 2.5″ long x 4′ deep)
The Café Gallery is situated to the rear of the building, a beautifully proportioned room with Georgian windows. Well patronised, a good location to exhibit. There are two main hanging panels 5.13 m x 1.22 m (16’10″ x 4′), one shorter wall of 4.09 m x 1.22 m (13’5″ x 4′) plus spaces between windows
Seating capacity of 40.
We have a curated programme for the galleries so the spaces are not usually for hire for exhibitions. Artists are welcome to submit proposals. You can request our guidelines from the email below.
The Allsop Gallery is programmed approx. 18 months in advance and the foyer & cafe spaces 6 months in advance.

Marlow Theatre
A charming listed building occupying a prime site in the centre of Bridport, the Arts Centre makes an ideal venue for conferences (1-3 days), lectures, demonstrations, AGM’s and, of course, staged musical and theatrical productions. There is ample public parking nearby and improved disabled access.

Standing capacity of 300 (e.g. music events)

Refreshments & Catering Facilities
