Chumbawamba and O'Hooley & Tidow
Chumbawamba comes to BAC as they release their new album ABCDEFG. The theme of the album is music – that volatile stuff which both the band and their audience have shared for as long as they can remember.
The new songs cover such diverse topics as the wearing of iPods in public places, censorship of music under repressive regimes and the power of the voice. Oh, and Simon Cowell’s come-uppance…
They are joined on the tour by fellow No Masters artists O’Hooley & Tidow; dapper-suited gentlewomen with a wryly observant, melancholic take on life, creating their very own brand of contemporary folk song.
