Ballet Central are returning to Bridport Arts Centre with an exciting programme of ballet, contemporary, jazz and narrative dance. The varied repertoire features a mixture of newly commissioned works and much-loved revivals, which showcase the talent of the company’s young and emerging dancers.
New works this year will be from highly acclaimed choreographers including Darshan Singh Bhuller (former Artistic Director of Phoenix Dance Theatre), Christopher Marney (Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures), West End choreographer Stacey Haynes, Kenneth Tindall (Northern Ballet), Dane Hurst (Rambert Dance Company) and Sara Matthews (Director, Central School of Ballet).
Ballet Central will also feature re-staged versions of the Fireside Pas de Deux from Cinderella, and the Florestan Pas de Trois from The Sleeping Beauty by company founder Christopher Gable CBE.
