PAY WHAT YOU THINK IT’S WORTH’ FOR A PROVOCATIVE MIX OF STAND-UP AND STORYTELLING

Screen Shot 2013-11-01 at 11.08.36The Price of Everything‘ by Daniel Bye is heading to Bridport Arts Centre, The Marine Theatre and Dorchester Arts next week and in keeping with the spirit of the show the three venues are pleased to offer you the chance to come along and pay only what you think it’s worth.

The hilarious show invites the audience to speculate on the value of everything from a glass of milk to an air guitar. It questions why we have to calculate the value of everything in monetary terms and gently introduces the idea of an alternative system.

Comic, provocative, and possibly a tiny bit sad, this show is a must for anyone who has ever wondered about the difference between the price of an object and its value. Plus every audience member gets a free glass of milk!

Mark Tattersall, Artistic Director at Dorchester Arts said: “Daniel raises some important points in the show about how we assign value to things and events, so it seemed only logical to make this offer. We try to give value for money at all our events, but this time people have a chance to vote with their wallets and tell us what they really think“.

To guarantee a seat please book your ticket at the box office quoting whatitsworth. You can pay by donation at the end of the performance.
