In the dark days of January come and explore the unique world created by sculptor Peter Hand and his ‘Repository of Dreams’ exhibition.

These are not sculptures in the conventional sense, nor will this be a traditional exhibition.  The theatre at the Arts Centre will be transformed into a labyrinth of glass-fronted cabinets each containing a highly detailed scene, quite like a theatre set, full of mysterious, beguiling and at times disturbing characters.

These characters explore aspects of Jungian psychology, as experienced by Peter Hand, who lives in Marshwood and who has been creating these pieces over a period of more than 30 years.  They are full of symbolism, mythology, illusion and allusion and are sure to generate lots of discussion.
