Jazz Café – Maggie Reeday Sings Stevie Wonder

Maggie Reeday brings her impeccable vocal style to the songs of Stevie Wonder, with Philip Clouts at the piano and Michael J Bolton on bass.

Stevie Wonder is a massive figure in pop and soul music and his music has always had a strong jazz feeling-his debut album was even called The Jazz Soul of Little Stevie, and great jazz singers like Ella Fitzgerald have sung his music. Maggie will be covering a wide range of his songs, including many classics like Isn’t She Lovely, My Cherie Amour and You are the Sunshine of my Life.

Maggie is one of the country’s finest vocalists, and has worked in both television and radio over the years, also with some of the greatest international jazz musicians. She has an engaging style with the audience, and a wonderful sense of fun.
