Jazz Cafe: Pete Canter & Simon Latarche

Saxophonist, double bass player and composer Pete Canter played on the London jazz scene of the 1980s before moving to the Southwest in 2001 where he quickly established himself as a fine musician and band leader. He has been a regular at major U.K. jazz festivals including Teignmouth, Bude and Cheltenham, and has been described as “an inventive soloist with a distinctive sound” by jazz critic Ian Mann.

Tonight’s concert brings together these two talented jazz musicians for an evening of melodic and highly enjoyable swing and Latin jazz.
