Kinetics is based on the remarkable true story of two people seemingly at polar opposites. As Rose tries to come to terms with her diagnosis with early-onset Parkinson’s, an unlikely friendship springs up when Lukas comes tumbling into her life. But will the bond between them be strong enough when things go wrong?
Brave, honest and humorous, Kinetics was written for the stage by Dorchester-based actor and writer Sue Wylie and has toured to great acclaim. This new film version will not only take the play to a wider audience but will also be used as a training and information resource for Parkinson’s nurses, carers, doctors and medical students.
