Secret Cinema Rogue Male (12) – FROM PAGE TO SCREEN FESTIVAL

In early 1939 Sir Robert Hunter (O’Toole) attempts to assassinate Hitler but is captured by the Gestapo.  He escapes home to England and tries to out-fox his pursuers when he goes to ground in the depths of the Marshwood Vale.

Before the secret screening you’ll join storyteller and lover of landscape Martin Maudsley to go in search of the holloways and hideways that inspired Geoffrey Household’s cult novel 80 years ago. Audience for this assignment should look for clues in the original book, dress for muddy exploring and rendezvous at 1pm at the car park behind the Manor Yard in Symondsbury….only 28 places available.
