Bridport Arts Newsletter
Theatre Friday 16 February, 2018 7:00pm

This long term international youth arts project has now developed work in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, at Bournemouth University and in Sarteano, a beautiful small hill town in Southern Tuscany. We now have an active network of over 500 young people and artists across wider Europe.

Young people have begun to lead their own smaller versions successfully and so far these have deveolped in Srebrenica, Croydon and others are planned in Setubal, Portugal and Loznica, Serbia.

In Bridport This February we aim to welcome young people from our partner organisations, SLYNCS, Blackburn, Young People Insight, Croydon, You_Press, London and depending on funding, from our partner countries Italy, Bosnia, Serbia and Portugal.

This half term week at BAC we will be looking at how to use the TCFT process to look at issues of concern and interest to young people including fairness and inclusion, social media and texting, youth activism and empowerment.

Using Forum Theatre, dance, music, poetry, painting, film and photography, there will be sharing of work on the Friday evening in the BAC theatre at 7pm.

All welcome. Under 16s free.
