We recognise the beneficial impact that difference has on our work and actively encourage applications from individuals from all backgrounds and communities, especially applications from black and minority ethnic communities and other under-represented groups.

If you are interested, please submit an expression of Interest by sending a CV and covering letter to the Director Mick Smith [email protected] who will then forward these to the Chair.

Last year our volunteers contributed hours of their time and we are extremely grateful. There are many reasons why you may want to join our team, some people want to learn new skills, others enjoy meeting new people while others simply love the arts

We think volunteering at the Arts Centre is fun, here’s what our stewards have to say about it:

“Being a steward at the Arts Centre has offered many things to me, ...opportunities to meet stimulating people, to contribute to the  running of this great community asset, to see  and enjoy a wide variety of entertainment which otherwise might pass me by, and,  not least, to share fun and laughter with the dedicated staff who keep it all going.”
“I enjoy being a steward, it is fun and gives you a chance to meet people and be part of a team contributing to the running  of a great Arts Centre”
