New season of films announced (March – April)

As we all gear up to the glitz and glam of the Oscar, it is a good time to reflect and programme some cracking films that are out there…

Our new Digital and Film Technician has pulled together his first period of films with the highlight being Leave No Trace, which is getting quite a buzz from Mark Kermode. Other films include; Widows, Green Book, The Bromley Boys, My Generation and much more.

Breakfast Movies 

These are the Arts Centre’s 11am screenings where customers get a free hot drink and pastry. These have now become very popular so do book your seats in advance to avoid disappointment. Coming up films include Stan & OllieThe Wife, A Star is Born, Edie, The Book Club, Lady Bird, Darkest Hour and many more.

Shakespeare Screenings

Linked to the Exhibition: Philip Sutton My Shakespeare the Arts Centre will be showing Shakespeare films which include: Anonymous, Gnomeo and Juliet, Henry V (introduced by Philip Sutton) and Shakespeare in Love.

Fashion Flicks

During the first week of March Bridport Arts Centre will be hosting a Fasion Fest! Some of this programming will focus on fashion portrayed in film, this include; McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, Coco Before Chanel & Love, Cecil 

Young Programmer

And finally our Young Programmer, Blake, has picked Bohemian Rhapsody as his flick of choice in March, tickets only £3.50
