Social Media, PR and Marketing Intern (1-2 days per week for 3-4 months)
Bridport Arts Centre is working with Redfront to recruit a young person as a marketing intern. You will be one of a small team of young interns, placed with leading arts organisations across Dorset, developing an exciting joint communications campaign for the arts across the county.
You will learn valuable skills in key aspects of communications and working in partnership. In return, you will help build offline and online communities of audiences and arts professionals helping promote the wealth and quality of arts activities across Dorset. Travel expenses will be provided plus free entry to arts events.

BAC Building Appeal
Bridport Arts Centre has been welcoming audiences since 1974. But to make sure you continue to enjoy the best experience possible in our theatre and gallery, we now need to:
Update the theatre heating system
Improve the entrance
Replace the theatre seating
Open the main doors, relocating the box office to the front of the building
Install a lift to the gallery
Improve the gallery lighting
Create a better bar and café
Introduce an education and community space
And redecorate throughout…
The cost will be £250,000 and thanks to the generous support of organisations and individuals, we are able to start work during 2010 on external work and installing heating.
