How to book

Your Account

To book online you will need an account with us. Click on My Account in the menu bar.

If this is your first time booking online you will need to create an account – click on Register Now and fill in the requested details. Once you have an account you can log in easily from the My Account page using your email address and password at any time. From the My Account page, you can also edit your personal details and your communication preferences at any time.

If you already have an account with us you can log in from the My Account page using your email and password.

Making a booking

Once you are logged in, navigate to the event you want to book for via the What’s On pages and follow the prompts to select your tickets.

Types of Tickets & pricing

We offer a number of different ticket options to try to make visiting Bridport Arts Centre as affordable as possible.

Concessions

We offer concession tickets to those in receipt of disability benefits, Job Seekers Allowance or Income Support. Proof of eligibility may be requested.

Supporter Discount

Wherever you see this symbol (opposite) it means a 10% members discount is available for that event for Front Row and Spotlight members. This will be automatically applied at the checkout. Find out more about becoming a Supporter here.

Birdie Discount

This is our free to join youth membership scheme for 14 to 25 year olds. Find out more here.

Free tickets to Carers

Our visitors are very welcome to bring a carer to assist them FREE – please ask when you arrive or call or email in advance to help us make the best of your visit.

Once you have booked

You will be sent an email confirming your booking and containing the QR code for scanning at the theatre door when you arrive, once your payment has gone through. If you have requested that your tickets be posted you will receive these in the next couple of days.

Reservations

We are happy to reserve tickets but any reservations will only be held for 1 week, after this, they will be deleted from the system.

Refunds

Once payment has been received all tickets are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend due to COVID-19 or for any other reason, we can exchange tickets or credit your account, valid for 24 months from the date of issue, as long as you let us know at least 48 hours in advance.

Cookies

As with all sites that provide online sales, you will need to accept Cookies (little bits of data that help us to track your order) to be able to book.  If an alert about Cookies comes up, you will need to change the settings in the ‘Preferences’ menu of your browser to ‘Accept Cookies’.  You then need to ‘Refresh’ the page.  You will only need to do this once.

You can also go to the event page(s) first and select your seats.  Once you go to the Checkout you will be prompted to log in to your account.

FAQs

What if I have an account but have forgotten my password?

As long as you have access to the email address linked to your account, we can send you a new password. On the My Account page, click the option to reset your password and we will send you a link.

Can I book for more than one event?

Yes, you can book for as many events as you like at one time.  Your selections will be kept in your ‘basket’ until you go to the checkout and pay.

What if I change my mind halfway through?

You can review your ‘basket’ and make changes to your selection at any point before you pay.

Can I reserve tickets online?

No, tickets cannot be reserved online, only over the phone or in person.

How long will my ticket selection be held?

If you have selected some tickets, they will be held in your basket for 30mins.(NB. Your browser may time you out of your session before that.)

How do I log out?

You can log out from the My Account page or just by closing the browser window.
