BACSCREEN Film making workshops for 12 – 18 year olds

10 places at £70 each (bursaries available)

Are you interested in film making? Have you got something to say about climate change?

7 x two-hour sessions starting at the end of March 2023:
27 March, 17, 24, April, 1, 8 and 15 May (plus a weekend’s filming 20/21 May)

BACSCREEN is a weekly course running on Monday evenings which will introduce you to filmmaking by putting you behind and in front of the camera. Our aim is to help you develop your ideas and learn how to express them in a fun, hands-on environment. Over the term, in partnership with Sustainable Bridport, you will work alongside other students to produce a ten-minute short film that explores your perspective on climate change while learning about the practical process of filmmaking and how to use film to express yourself.

To support students and remove financial obstacles we have a limited number of bursary places available. If you would like to be considered for a bursary (free) place on the course, just email and let us know who you are and why you are interested in attending. Decisions will be made on a case by case basis.

Deadline for applications: Midday Monday 27 March
