The story of the Tolpuddle Martyrs. It’s 1834 in the farming town of Tolpuddle. Heartless landowner James Frampton forces his impoverished labourers to work under harsh conditions. When their already meagre wages are further reduced, in the dead of night, a group of labourers swear allegiance to a new union resulted in be arrested, sentenced and transported to Australia for seven years.
