Page to Stage | Poetry and Spoken Word Performance Workshop with Kathryn O’Driscoll
Page to Stage is a 2-hour workshop with a focus on taking your poems from the page to performance. 2021 UK Poetry Slam champion Kathryn O’Driscoll will help you think about what performance elements are for and how they can help or hinder a poem depending on its meaning. Explore body language, silence, humour, breath and vocal techniques to enhance your poetry and create an unforgettable, spoken word experience that is appropriate for you as an artist and your work.
Come armed with a couple of your poems that you want to share and the knowledge that people want to hear what you have to say. This is already your space to claim!
An ‘OmniVerse’ event presented by the Jawbone Collective.
