Hip-Hop Words with Isaiah Dreads
A creative writing workshop for young people aged 12+, turning words into personal stories through the form of rap and poetry.
We will create as a group and then allow everyone to take it in their own direction. Expect fun rap beats and good vibes.
Isaiah Dreads is an acclaimed, 25-year-old, Dorset-based hip hop artist, MC and rapper. He has deep rooted connections with the Dorset landscape, making inspiring lyrical music.

From and To is one of 60 new projects commissioned across the UK as part of Our Freedom: Then and Now, a new UK-wide, locally-led arts and creative programme, reflecting on what ‘Our Freedom’ means to communities following the 80th anniversary of VE/VJ Day. It is delivered in partnership with Libraries Connected and Open Eye Gallery, supported using public funding by UK Government through Arts Council England.
