We welcome back harpist Oliver Wass, a First Class Master’s graduate of the and now Professor of Harp at the . An international prize-winner, he has won the Suoni d’Arpa International Competition (Italy), the International Harp Competition of Slovenia and the Jury Prize at the International Harp Competition in Szeged. In 2016 he became the first harpist to win the Guildhall Gold Medal, the School’s most prestigious award, whose previous recipients include , and .
Gabriela Opacka-Boccadoro is a Polish-British violinist and conductor with a PhD from the and an Artist Diploma from the . She has appeared as soloist with the and at the OCM Festival in Prussia Cove, led the International Philharmonic Orchestra in New York at , and is a prize winner of the 2012 Young Paganini International Violin Competition. She tours and records with the , and with Oliver Wass released RAVEL, an album of violin and harp transcriptions of works by .
