Godland (12A)
TICKETS £6 Adult, £5 concs., £4 Film Society members
In the late 19th century, a young Danish priest travels to a remote part of Iceland to build a church and photograph its people. But the deeper he goes into the unforgiving landscape, the more he strays from his purpose, the mission and morality.
GODLAND explores family bonds, the acceptance of myth or some kind of magic realism. It’s also a film about a journey into ambition, love and faith and the fear of God and the need and want to find your place in all this, to be seen, and to be a part of something.
