Let’s Keep Art – Easter Workshops
Let’s fill the gallery with art, and play, let’s make art all day!
For two days and an evening, Jo from Oops Wow Messy Art will take over the Allsop Gallery, everyone is welcome to come in and have a play. There will be a couple of lead activities each day, but you can come in at any time, play with what is there, and add your bit.
Wednesday
10.15 – starting off with a story we will then map our plan for our world using tape, collage and cardboard.
1 pm – we will do some simple printmaking to generate lots of lovely paper which we can use later on to add to the world we are building.
SOLD OUT! 7-9pm – The grown-ups will get a chance to add to what has been going on. We will do printmaking, drawing with tape and collage, make slogans and ‘manifest it’ placards saying what we want for the Arts… whatever takes your fancy. Tickets are pay what you can, leave a donation when booking your space.
Thursday
10.15 – we will paint lots of boxes to make a tower of art
1pm – we will look at what has happened and make posters to tell everyone about it.
All works made will stay in the gallery. If you want to come and collect your work on Saturday afternoon you are very welcome to.
Weds 10th and Thursday 11th April from 10 til 3pm , entry by donation open to any and everyone.
Closed 12.15 til 1pm. All children under 10yrs must be accompanied and supervised by an adult
Friday and Saturday
The gallery will be open on Friday and Saturday too when you will be able to see what happened and a little more even!
