BREAKING NEWS– as if 2 films wasn’t worth the price of the ticket, we also have a speaker:
Ele Rose has a degree in biology from Balliol College, Oxford; is currently researching climate change adaptation as a PhD student at Pennsylvania State University; and has written and researched numerous publications for the Landworkers’ Alliance so she is well qualified to comment on the Film ‘Kissing the Ground’ but at the of 17 she won the Amnesty international Human Rights Reporter of the Year. An inspiration for young people like those who have made the short film to be shown on the night ‘The End is Nigh’

BACscreen Present ‘THE END IS NIGH!(12A). Join us for the première screening.  Local young people have been working with local filmmaker George Earwicker and Sustainable Bridport to produce a short film illustrating their thoughts on climate change.

Main Feature – KISS THE GROUND (PG)

Narrated and featuring Woody Harrelson, Kiss the Ground is an inspiring and ground breaking film that reveals the first viable solution to our climate crisis. A revolutionary group of activists, scientists, farmers, and politicians band together in a global movement of “Regenerative Agriculture” that could balance our climate, replenish our vast water supplies, and feed the world.
