Children go Free to family events at Bridport Arts Centre this winter!

Bridport Arts Centre are delighted to offer a family-friendly deal this winter. Children can go free to the following family shows; Hibernation, The Lost Present and Brrr! It’s the Snow Queen when accompanied by a paying adult.

Bridport Arts Centre are a charity based in a multi-arts venue which offers a phenomenal year-round programme of visual arts, theatre, dance, comedy, music, spoken word and film. To help audiences and performers during the rising cost of living crisis, the Arts Centre have negotiated a deal with the companies bringing these family shows to Bridport.

Watch Hibernation (November 26) and be transported to a magical forest full of mirth, live music and marvellous creatures. Have you ever imagined what it would be like to stay asleep for the whole of winter? Join award winning Little Bulb (house band in CBEEBIES The Nutcracker) as together we prepare to take a very long nap!

Bridport Arts Centre will also host two family-friendly shows that are sure to get you in the Christmas spirit. The Lost Present (December 3) is a Topsy Turvy Theatre production written especially for children and brought to life using handmade puppets, original music, and delightful storytelling. It is an enchanting tale about true friendship. Brr! It’s the Snow Queen (December 21) is a retelling of Hans Andersen’s chilly tale. With quirky storytelling, a tune or two, the odd puppet, and a huge drift of snowy surprises, be ready to be intrigued and delighted.

As well as this fantastic offer, Bridport Arts Centre’s winter programme is packed full of music, theatre, film, and a Christmas exhibition. To see what’s on or to book your tickets, visit www.bridport-arts.com, call 01308 424901, or visit Bridport Tourist Information Centre.
