Youth Film Club

Bridport Arts Centre presents our new Youth Film Club for ages 12-25.

Starts Tuesday 19 October at 6.30pm. Full programme uploaded soon.

Our Film Club offers a space for young people to come together, share fun cultural experiences away from their parents, away from school and away from the pub. It’s a safe space to relax, hang out and watch a movie.

We will be showing seven incredible films. Youth Film Club members pay just £21 to watch all seven films or you can choose to pay £5 per film. Four films are only available to 15 years and over, so if you’re younger than 15, we can offer you a reduced membership fee.

Our first programme includes a selection of films ranging from old classics like ‘Some Like it Hot’ to new comedy like ‘Sorry to Bother You’, and award-winning animation such as ‘Persepolis’. The selection of films were hand picked  by the Youth Film Board and were chosen because of their political and social relevance, but also because they are films we can all enjoy.

Members are very welcome to bring a guest (of any age). The age bracket of 12-25 is a guideline, however, the age rating of the films will be non-negotiable and we will be asking for proof of age at the door.

Want to choose films to watch on a big screen? After this first programme of films has finished, our Youth Film Club members will be able to submit requests for the films they want to see on the big screen.
